Myanmar is a resource-rich South-East Asia country bordering the Andaman Sea & the Bay of Bengal. It shares and borders with Bangladesh, China, India, Laos & Thailand. It has an area of 679,000 square kilometers. It’s capital of Yangon. It is divided into seven States & seven Division. It is rich in natural resource such as petroleum, timber, marine products, minerals, precious stones & natural gas.

Myanmar’s 55 million-strong population is predominantly Buddhist. 68% of the population is in the “15 years-64 years” age category. The population ration of Male & Female is roughly 50/50. Nowadays, the Government is actively trying to develop the country’s business & their aim is to make Myanmar a more democratic country. In this contest, it is the perfect time for local business to further explore international business relation & opportunities. Company Profile Taw Win Oo Co.,Ltd. Was established in 1991. It is registered Privately-owned Company based in Yangon. We have a staff of 120 people. Our main line of business has always been in Cosmetics. We are the Exclusive Distributor of Shisedio for the whole of Myanmar since 1995. Company Achievements 1995: We opened our first Shisedio Showroom & Sales Centre. The Event was attended by many prominent & distinguished people from the government & commercial sectors. Form 1996 to present, we have opened: 14 Shiseido Salons & Showrooms, 2 Qi Shiseido Salon and Spa, 5 Shiseido Hair Salons, 7 Shiseido Fitit Showrooms (Pure & Mild, Whitia & ZA New York) 2008: Planned opening of new Shiseido Professional Hair Saloon. Planned opening of new Shiseido Spa. Marketing Activities For marketing/advertising support, we regularly advertise in the local media. In addition, we actively participate in the various Trade Fairs, We also organize Annual Meetings for our various dealers, where we brief them on the following years’ Marketing Plans as well as exchange valuable feedback. The Shiseido cooperate image  & indetity are strictly adhered to in all our Showrooms and Salons & Promotional activities. In oru         uest to constantly upgrade our knowledge & services, Beauty Trainers from Shiseido Shiseido Singapore come greularly to Yangon to conduct training & workshops. Stff showing good potential & results, are sent to Sigapore for advanced training. Additionally, we never fail to attend the twice-yearly Asia Pacific Marketing Conference in Japan. This Conference is specially organized for the thirtennn Asia-Pacific countries representing Shiseido in the rregion & sis hosted by he Shiseido Japan HQ. Future Plans For 2009, wehave also lanned for Shiseido Professional Hair Seminars, Promotions and Product Launched. During these events, Shiseido Beauty Educators are also present.

Their responsibility is to demonstrate and teach the new techniques and product knowledge.

Participants are given certificates after they have attended these Seminars.
